BEN – The
Behavior Education Network – is the premier website
for pet professionals to learn about the sciences of animal
behavior (ethology) and animal learning and how to apply
that knowledge to pet behavior. Here you’ll learn
how to prevent , manage and treat pet behavior problems
by delivering behavior wellness care and, when appropriate,
creating and implementing relevant, effective, behavior
modification plans.
BEN provides educational experiences in several different
ways. We provide online web-based courses, live telecourses
and webinars, as well as recorded DVD and audio programs,
books, booklets, and articles, both in the traditional
formats and as electronic downloads. No matter which way
you learn best, you’ll find educational experiences
that fit your needs. At BEN you have access to the latest
information based on the application and interpretation
of scientific information about pet behavior.
BEN is focused on dog and cat behavior and behavior problems,
but many basic principles apply to birds, horses and other
species as well.
